A Gaiwan is a lidded-Chinese tea vessel without a handle, used for infusing (and sometimes even drinking) tea.
A Gaiwan is made up of 3 parts: the saucer, the bowl and the lid and is particularly good for infusing green and white teas in Gong Fu Cha style, but also for oolong tea.
