The infusion from the mountains is harvested by hand in Greece and then dried in the shade to preserve all its aromas. Sideritis is the name of the hardy plant that composes the mountain infusion. It lives in the wild on rocky soil at an altitude of more than 1,000 meters.
It is delicious as an infusion with a spoonful of honey and a few drops of lemon. Take two stems and let them steep in 1 pint of boiling water for 6-8 minutes. To brew your herbal tea in the Greek tradition, add 1 teaspoon of honey and a few lemon drops.
