Popular Abu Dhabi artisanal smashed burger & fried chicken joint by Chef Faisal finally in Dubai.

The long wait is over! Lento is finally in Dubai after 2-years, and it is a great addition to the local burger scene. 

For those of you who do not know him, Chef Faisal, the Chef Founder of Lento is arguably one of the most recognized Emirati-born Chefs in the UAE. With hundreds of thousands of social media followers, he is famous for his detailed masterclasses that sometimes last hours where he deconstructs complex recipes for his Arabic audience, gets into the nitty-gritty details, and answers all questions with the patience of a university professor.

A geneticist by trade, Faisal loves to apply chemical precision to the art that is cooking, which is probably what made his burger brand the incredible success that it is today. " The process is everything", he says, and it's no joke. Everything you eat in this joint is made from scratch and from the finest ingredients.

Let's start with the Sourdough Hokkaido bun, freshly baked every day, and branded "Lento". His triple-cooked russets are some of the crispiest yet most tender chips you will come across. The dredge, used in his fried chicken, or all the wonderful sauces that make my mouth water as I write this piece, Spicy umami sauce, garlic Fermented honey butter, and Homemade kimchi slaw, without forgetting the toppings that I will mention in passing: home-made pickles, caramelized onions, and miso-marinated tomatoes.

You will have your choice from a selection of four (4) wagyu beef and four(4) young local chicken burgers, Fries, Chicken Fingers, and a few specials if we are lucky (slow-braised shortribs please), and seriously good chocolate brownies sold by the box.

Lento Dubai is now open (soft opening) every day of the week except Monday, from 3 until 11 pm. You can find it in Jumeirah 3, on the Al Wasl - Al Thanya street intersection. Follow the pin for google maps location.
